Description

Birmingham 1930 English hallmarked solid silver large oval mustard pot made in the Georgian style.
With chased edge, feathered thumb rest and lion paw feet, the hinged top is lifted by a baluster finial to reveal the original glass liner.
Made by very good makers Adie Brothers, with spoon by very good makers Martin and Hall, hallmarked Sheffield 1927.
Weight-92 grams silver only, 130 grams total overall.
Size-4 inches long to handle by 2.25 inches wide by 2.25 inches high. Spoon-3 1/8 inches long.
With just a couple of tiny marks to the body, and a slight wave on the lower stem of the spoon, this large and classic mustard pot is in very good condition overall, and makes a lovely and functional set. A great value.
