Description

Sheffield 1960 English hallmarked solid silver unusual spoon with lovely pierced stem.
Made by Poston Products.
This interesting spoon is an unusual design with a shapely pierced stem forming the initials of a golf club R S G C. The bowl is engraved "RSGC September Greensomes 1961 Mrs. J. Corsie and Mrs. J. O. McCallum."
It was obviously a valued prize, appearing never to have been actually used.
Size-4 3/8 inches long by 7/8 inches wide.
Weight-12 grams.
A lovely spoon made in a good gauge of silver, for the golf aficionado or the spoon collector, in very good condition.
