Description
19th century (post 1838) set of 5 French 1st standard solid hallmarked silver gilt tea knives, with .950 fine content. This is a higher silver content than English sterling. They are excellent quality, and weigh a full 305 grams. Marked to both blades and handles.With beautiful shell and leaf pattern to handles, these knives are excellent for cheese, butter, or cake, and would look lovely on any table.
