Description

London 1932 Art Deco period English hallmarked solid silver and enamel matchbox case for boxed matches by very famous maker, Aspreys, makers of the finest silver pieces. The pink enamel on concentric engine turned design, is on both sides of the box. Aside from one very hard to see flake to the enamel shown in the second photo, lower left corner, the box is in very good condition.
Size-2 3/8 inches long, by 1.5 inches wide by 7/8 inches high.
A very fine display piece or collectable, and a lovely and very useful piece for holding boxed matches for the fireplace or for lighting candles.
