Description

Georgian period antique English lovely mahogany workbox with boxwood banding, ivory escutcheon, turned knob to drawer, and charming shaped brass cartouche to hinged lid.
With drawer under, and standing on bun feet.
Interiors of box and drawer are lined with baize.
Striking flame pattern to the mahogany, and boxwood banding all around.
Wonderful colour and patina.
Size-10.75 inches by 8.75 inches by 5.1 inches high.
In very good condition, this is a really lovely, decorative and unusual box, which would make an excellent jewellery or collectables box, or desk tidy.
