Birmingham 1923 English hallmarked solid silver lovely dressing table set of silver handled shoe horn and button hook made by Lionel Smith and Co, of Spencer Street in Birmingham, makers of small silver goods. This mark was used from 1919-1929.
The handles are waisted in shape, with beaded edges accenting the shape on both sides, while the blades are steel. They are enclosed in the original fitted case having gilt clasps and satin and velvet interior.
Size-6.75 inches long. Shoehorn is 1.5 inches wide.
In very good condition.
These are both attractive to display and still functional to use.
