Description

Circa 1900 very pretty solid silver handled shoehorn with steel blade, very functional for modern use.
It comes contained in the original soft leather case.
Marked sterling, with makers mark for Levi and Salaman, the Birmingham hallmarks are rubbed.
Size-6.5 inches long by 1.25 inches wide.
Weight-50 grams.
In good condition, with just some dark marks to the steel section, mainly on the reverse, as is often the case with the steel portions of functional items. Surface is smooth though in the event this would be used for its original function rather than display.
The solid silver handle is a lovely embossed style.
A very practical and decorative piece of antique silver.
