20th century original oil on canvas painting entitled "Forest Box," signed Pamela Hughes, and framed in a lovely thick gilt frame, which is very complimentary to the painting.This is an iconic painting of the British countryside, showing the well known feature of daily life, the British post box within a forest setting. It is beautifully painted in the impressionist style, and is in very good condition. Label to reverse.
Size-13 inches wide by 15 inches high.
It would be a wonderful painting to display, or to take abroad as a reminder of a trip to England.
