Description
19th century solid walnut jewellery box or desk tidy, with carved design to top and bevelled corners, and with vacant brass plaque to centre.The interior is leather lined with a large middle compartment surrounded by two smaller ones. The base is lined to protect the table, and there is an interesting scissor type gilt central clasp.
Perfect for a gentleman's jewellery box for watches, cufflinks, rings etc., or as a nice desk tidy.
Size-18.5 inches long by 5 5/8 inches wide by 1.75 inches high.
