Description
Sheffield 1995 English hallmarked solid silver set including inkstand, inkwell and pen by well known makers's Carrs of Sheffield. It has a nice polished wood shaped square baize lined base, with a banded solid silver swag pattern decoration. The separate silver and glass inkwell has a hinged silver lid and collar with faceted glass body. The inkstand has two raised brackets to support a pen, and the double struck solid silver swag pattern pen with nib is included. All pieces have matching hallmarks.This is a very nice inkstand to use and display on desk or table.
Size-Inkstand-4 3/8 inches square. The inkwell is 1.75 inches square by 1 5/8 inches high. The pen is 6 1/8 inches long.
Weight-175 grams total.
