Lovely petite solid silver and cut glass ships decanter made by famous makers A E Jones.
Birmingham 1989 English hallmarked solid silver and cut glass petite ships decanter by the famous A E Jones company, with the original stopper.
Ships decanters are so called due to the wide base, making them stable on bumpy sea voyages.
Of unusual size, this can be used for a bedside or desktop serving of an alcoholic beverage, or for scents and oils for dressing table or bath.
It appears to have been seldom used.
The stopper is cut in the same pattern as the decanter, and the neck of the body has deep curving sliced cuts. The body itself is cut with multiple slice patterns, and finished with a star cut base.
Size-6.25 inches high by 4 5/8 inches diameter base.
Weight-535 grams.
A lovely and unusual sized decanter, and very stable to use in any location due to the shape.
An elegant piece in very good condition.
This would make a lovely gift for a gentleman for a study or boat, or a woman for scents and oils.

London 1802 Georgian solid silver sherry decanter label by Elizabeth Morley, female silversmith.
London 1802, lovely George III period English hallmarked solid silver sherry label or bottle ticket, made by a female silversmith, Elizabeth Morley. In the Georgian period, this was very unusual, as silversmithing was a male dominated occupation.
Having a cut cornered shape with thread edge, and original chain, this is a very nice example, and collectable due to the female maker.
A lovely label in very good condition with clear hallmarks, and over 200 years old!

Early 19th century small essentially square decanter for spirits or scent, with gilt embellishment.
This lovely square decanter has a gilit leafy foliate and circle and scallop design to the neck, shoulders and tear drop shaped stopper, and a rough pontil to the base.
Size-6.75 inches high by 2.5 inches deep by 2 5/8 inches wide.
Weight-300 grams.
This may once have been from the interior contents of a decanter box or casket, but is lovely on its own, or would make a great antique replacement for a missing or broken one.

19th century very handsome solid silver beaker.
19th century, marked for before 1888, German hallmarked solid silver .750 fine cylindrical shaped beaker or cup.
The beaker is really lovely, all over engraved, with a Greek key design to top and bottom borders, and around the vacant cartouche. It has a turned over edge.
Size- 2 5/8 inches high by 2 3/8 inches diameter.
Weight-55 grams.
With just some bumps along the bottom, in very good condition overall.
A great gift for a Christening, baby, drinks enthusiast, or for the hunter.

Very nice early 20th century polished metal and glass ice bucket or wine cooler chiller. Twin chained handle and plaque accents the heavy glass body beautifully.
The plaque reads Etain Sonnant and bears fleur de lit and rose design.
A great piece to hold either ice or a bottle of wine at the bar or table.
