Circa 1940's English mother of pearl and silverplate handled 12 piece (6 pairs) set of dessert cutlery comprising 6 knives and 6 forks, with beautifully carved mother of pearl handles. Blades and tines are stainless.
Contained in the original fitted case, these pieces are in excellent condition, and are also suitable for cheese and butter.

19thC Victorian fine silver plate 3 piece strawberry set in the original stunning fitted case.
19th century fine silver plate 3 piece strawberry set, beautifully crafted and comprising sugar bowl, cream jug, and sugar sifting spoon, presented in the original fitted case.
The pieces are all designed with a wrythen and punch beaded pattern, with very fine beaded and ruffled edges. The spiral turned stem of the spoon joins a square pierced bowl. All pieces are in fine condition with the original interior gilding still intact. They are heavy in weight, and very well made.
The original case is fitted and covered in a stunning velvet and silk interior, with an engraved intact clasp.
Size-case 5.5" wide by 8.75" long; jug 3.5" wide by 2.5" diameter by 1 7/8" high; bowl 3.5" diameter by 2" high; spoon 4 5/8" long by 1 5/8" square bowl.
To be used for serving strawberries or when serving coffee or tea, and/or accompanied by a dessert requiring sifted sugar.
A stunning and rare antique set that will give much pleasure to its owner, at the fraction of the price of solid silver.

19thC large pair of cast silver plate shell salts in naturalistic design.
19th century cast and silver plate large pair of salts in the guise of shells upon the sea bed, with traces of interior gilding to interior. Although unmarked examples, these can only have come from a superior firm such as Elkington, who were known to make such things.
Size 3 inches long by 2 inches wide shell only, 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches including base.
Weight-485 grams.
Very realistically and beautifully crafted, unusual, and in very good condition.

19th century very attractive Elkington, famous maker silverplate dessert set comprising 6 pairs of forks and knives (also great for butter/cheese), with thick handles, in the original fitted case.
Elkington and Company were the inventors of the best silver plating process, and their wares are of very high quality, and most sought after.
Size of fork 6.5 inches, and knife 7.25 inches.
This is a wonderful versatile service, great to keep or to give as a gift, which is sure to be appreciated.

The oval stand with pierced gallery stands on large ball feet and contains 3 divided glass dishes with star cut bases. It is carried with a beautifully shaped handle surmounted by a ball finial, echoing the shape of the feet.
Size-12 inches long by 6 inches wide by 8 inches high.
Add a lovely silver pickle fork, olive spoon or cocktail picks to complete the set (see listings for choices).

19thC excellent quality Victorian silverplate salver.
19th century Victorian salver, made by William Wheatcroft Harrison of Sheffield, England, and made in the period from 1857-1896, the only period this mark was used.
It is a round salver with a pie crust Georgian style cast and applied beaded edge with leaf accents, and stands on cast and applied ball and claw feet. There is a vacant engraved cartouche to the centre, that is engraved with scrolls and leaves .
Size-10 3/8 inches diameter, and about 1 inch high.
It is very good quality, and has good weight. It would be lovely to use for serving, and for drinks.

Lovely round bowled spoons with fluted edges and foliate decoration, have a twisted stem with cast ferule and lustrous ivory handle.
These are excellent for serving food or sauces, and make a wonderful and impressive gift.
Size-7 inches long by 1 5/8 inches wide. Size of case overall is 4 inches wide by 8.75 inches long by 1.25 inches high.
Weight-225 grams total with case, or 65 grams cutlery only.

With registration mark for 1907, a wonderful and unusual silver plate entree dish by famous maker John Round.
With registration mark for 1907, a lovely shaped octagonal silver plate entree dish with cast and applied foliate decoration, standing on rounded feet.
Unusually, in addition to the usual detachable centre handle, there is a removable swing handle as well. What a clever way to transport a hot dish! It can also be left in place and will not interfere with normal operation of the cover.
Size-11.25 inches long by 8.25 inches wide by 5.25 inches high to centre handle or 7.25 inches high with swing handle upright.
This dish makes either one covered entree dish, or two open ones, when it is separated, as the decoration also continues on the inside of the cover.
A really lovely and unusual entree dish, with an elegant shape and very different style, by a famous maker.
In very good condition.

With very good weight and size, and attractive shell accent to heel of bowl, complementing the shell design to front and back of stem.
The decoration is crisp and the tines are sharp. This complete set is in very good condition, will blend with other silver or is lovely to use alone. It is unusual to find 12 in a set.
