London 1935 solid silver heavy cigarette case with all over engraving, made by S.J. Rose and Son.
London 1935 English hallmarked solid silver cigarette case with all over engraving on both sides and a band around the outside edges. Heavy gauge of silver.
Push button closure opens to gilt interior, and closes securely.
Size-3 3/8 inches long by 2 5.8 inches wide.
Weight-80 grams.
Maker-S.J. Rose and Son.
Although still very good for its original purpose of holding cigarettes and small cigars, these cases are now also used as card cases, double photo frames, or other personal items.
A nice solid silver case in good condition.

Birmingham 1922 superb heavy solid silver engraved cigarette case.
Birmingham 1922 superb English hallmarked solid silver engraved cigarette case, made of very heavy gauge silver. With pristine gilt interior, and very crisp decoration to exterior.
Made by Frederick Field, of Warstone Lane in Birmingham.
Beautifully crafted, the case was engraved to the interior as a sports prize in 1924. It doesn't seem to have ever been used, and consequently is in excellent condition.
Size- 3 3/8 inches long by 2 inches wide.
Weight-65 grams.
Today, in addition to being used for cigarettes, these are often used for pills, business cards, photos, etc.
A lovely superb quality solid silver case.

Size-3 inches diameter by .5 inches high.
With circular engraving to centre, and nice raised rest to edge, these are a lovely pair for the smoking enthusiast.

Chester 1909 solid silver engraved match box case.
Chester 1909 English hallmarked solid silver matchbox case with nice crisp foliate and scroll bright cut engraved top and bottom and blank cartouche to top.
Possibly made by Robert Pringle, although the first initial is obscured by the engraved decoration.
Size-1 11/16 inches long by 1 2/16 inches wide by 9/16 inches high.
It is not quite square on the open side, and has a few marks of age, but is in good condition overall.
A good piece for a smoker, Chester silver enthusiasts or collectors of small silver.

Sheffield 1973 solid silver English hallmarked pipe tool by famous maker Dunhill.
Includes a tamper, reamer, and pierce, that all fold neatly together in an engine turned engraved case for carrying in a pocket if desired.
There is a blank cartouche for initials to be engraved if appropriate.
A lovely gift for the pipe smoker, which would make a wonderful companion to the Peterson sterling silver banded pipe which is listed separately.
