Birmingham 1932 solid silver topped Art Deco rectangular cut glass dressing table jar by Adie Brothers.
Birmingham 1932 English hallmarked solid silver engraved dressing table jar, with gilt interior, and a cut glass rectangular base by Adie Brothers.
A superior quality jar in very good condition. Originally used in travelling dressing or vanity cases, this is now very useful for dressing table or desk, to hold various items, and is suitable for either a man or woman.
Size-4 3/8 inches high by 1 3/8 inches wide by 1 inch deep.
Weight-105 grams total, 15 grams silver.

Birmingham 1933 solid silver fine quality heavy salver.
Birmingham 1933 fine quality English hallmarked solid silver tray or salver with gadroon and shell decorated and stepped shaped edge, and standing on three paw feet.
Family inscription and crest to centre could be easily buffed off if desired, as silver is thick in gauge.
Weight- heavy at 350 grams.
Size- 8.25 inches in diameter.
This salver, made by very good makers Barker Brothers, is very good value, and is in very good condition.
Wonderful to use for a decanter, drinks, food, or to hold cards, or other items.

Birmingham 1933 unusual solid silver Dog World engraved spoon.
Birmingham 1933 English hallmarked solid silver heavy gauged coffee or tea sized spoon with "Dog World" engraved to the tear drop shaped bowl.
The spoon also features a seal topped terminal.
Made by Kenart Ltd.
This was from a private collection of dog related silver, and was probably a prize in a dog show at the time.
Size-3 7/8 inches long by 1 inch wide.
Weight-15 grams.
An unusual spoon for the collector of dog related items, a spoon collector, or those who drink tea and coffee or enjoy soft boiled eggs.

Birmingham 1934 solid silver day of the week calendar on stepped weighted mahogany base with complete double sided faux ivory celluloid day of the week card inserts numbered 1-31.
Each day a card is removed, reversed and replaced to display the appropriate day.

This is a nice small piece for desk or dressing table in good antique condition with one flattened spot to top edge as seen and some tiny marks.
Size-2 inches diameter by 2 inches high.

Birmingham 1934 solid silver very nice and unusually sized Art Deco solid silver table cigarette or cigar box, made by Adie Brothers.
Birmingham 1934 Art Deco English hallmarked solid silver unusual table sized cigarette or cigar box, made by very good makers, Adie Brothers.
Square in shape, and with rounded corners, the plain sides are highlighted by an engine turned engraved top, having a geometric Art Deco vacant cartouche to centre.
The rising lid reveals a fully lined cedar wood interior. The lid is attached to the case with a full length flush mounted hinge, while the base exterior is leather lined to protect the table surface.
Still very functional for its original purpose for holding cigarettes and small cigars, this box is also perfect as a desk tidy, a jewellery box for cuff links, watches etc., or just a lovely table ornament.
Size-3 3/8 inches square.
In very good condition, and with very good quality and gauge of silver. This is ready to use for yourself, or to give as a wonderful gift.

Birmingham 1935 lovely iconic Art Deco solid silver hot water jug.
Birmingham 1935 English hallmarked solid silver iconic Art Deco hot water jug or coffee pot made by William Neale and Son.
The panelled body and spout and geometric carved handle and finial are very evocative of the Deco period. It stands on a stepped pedestal foot, which is echoed by the stepped top.
Size-6 inches wide by 7 inches high by 3 inches wide.
Weight-285 grams.
In very good overall condition, with a few minor marks of use.
A lovely and functional piece to use alone, or with a tea service.

Birmingham 1937 silver gilt and enamel cased set of spoons, enameled with different English land and seascapes.
Mint condition English hallmarked solid silver gilt and enamel set of 6 coffee spoons in original faux tortoiseshell fan shaped case by maker H. Clifford Davis. Stems are enamelled to both front and back, and bowls are beautifully enamelled with different English landscapes or seascapes, to the reverse. Truly a unique set of spoons in excellent condition and of superb quality.
They appear to never have been used.
A lovely and unique gift, or for the collector of small silver, still having a practical use.
