Description
Birmingham 1887 English hallmarked solid silver Victorian large square cigarette case by renowned maker George Unite.This case has all over bright cut scroll engraving and the original gilding to the interior, as well as the retention straps. It has a full side hinge and a sprung push thumb catch.
This case can also hold business cards or small cigars.
With a very charming inscription to the interior in French, "avec tout mon coeur," translating to with all my heart, as well as "This above all."
Weight-very heavy at 120 grams.
Size-nearly square at 3 5/8 inches high by 3.5 inches wide by 5/8 inches deep.
A very good quality cigarette case by a fine maker.
In very good condition.
