Description
Circa 1830 Georgian Old Sheffield Plate shaped inkstand with cast foliate and shell decoration, two very beautifully shaped etched glass inkwells having engraved plate tops and desk tidy to centre, as well as two pen rests, one on each side. The whole stands on cast pierced scroll feet.Old Sheffield Plate is very sought after and collectable, and has a lovely look.
Size 9 inches wide by 6.5 inches deep.
This is a very beautiful and elegant piece, not often found, which would look lovely on desk or table.
In very good condition, this would make a lovely present for a man or woman.
