Description

Sheffield 1938 English hallmarked solid silver Art Deco period teapot on pedestal foot made by well known and collectable maker Harry Atkin.
With 16 lobes on spherical body surmounted by a fluted band, this is very elegant and very evocative of the era. The lid and pedestal foot are also lobed, as is the spout. Carved ebony handle and finial complete the design.
Very good weight and gauge of silver, and good capacity.
Size-10.5 inches long from handle to spout by 6 inches wide by 6 inches high.
Weight-615 grams.
A very pretty teapot in very good condition, which will complement any other silver or stand beautifully on its own.
