Description

19th century lovely blue agate and gilt metal box, with pretty chased detail to frame.
The blue agate is beautifully patterned with striped veins in blue and green, and has bevelled edges to both top and bottom.
Size-approximately 1 5/8 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide by 6/8 inches high.
Weight-30 grams.
In very good condition overall, there is a tiny v shaped file mark or indent to top near bevelled edge by hinge, and the lid doesn't sit entirely flush on one side of the frame when closed.
A lovely box to use for pills, trinkets or display.
