Description
A very good quality solid walnut Sutherland table in a very pleasing oval shape with wonderful spiral carved legs and stretcher.This very attractive and functional table has hinged leaves that fold down when not needed, and opens to be supported on swing out legs to make a very useful coffee, serving or occasional table.
Can also be used for display with only one leaf up if desired, to make a demi lune table.
Size-closed 32.5 inches long by 6.25 inches wide by 21.5 inches high. Open 34.5 inches wide by 32.5 inches long by 21.5 inches high.
Hand waxed in the traditional method, it has nice colour, with the top more pale than the base, and a good patina.
In very good antique condition, this is a very versatile table to work with any decor, and is a very good value.
