Description
Lovely William IV period fine figured mahogany circular tilt top dining or centre table with carved gadrooned edges. It stands on an octagonal panelled centre pedestal on tripod stand having claw feet and castors.The beautifully carved edges to the table top, as well as the wonderful figuring to the mahogany make this table stand out in any room.
Size-50 inches diameter by 28 inches high.
This lovely table can either be used permanently open, or can tilt up out of the way when necessary. It makes very comfortable seating for six people or eight in a pinch, or can be used as a lovely centre table in a large hall or room.
A very handsome piece, with wonderful colour and patina, in very good condition.
