20th century bespoke stunning architectural lighted display cabinet with bevelled glass and mirrored interior. Two identical cabinets available, sold individually.
A very striking mahogany finish display cabinet with architectural pointed and decorated top, and thick bevelled glass mounted door as well as two bevelled glass mounted sides. This is one of two identical cabinets bespoke made for a large country home, sold separately.
This very decorative and functional cabinet has some edges highlighted in ebony colour as well as a sun/fan design to the architectural top. The full width door closes tightly and securely, and opens fully to reveal 4 thick adjustable glass shelves, mounted in front of a smoked mirrored inner back which reflects the contents beautifully. The cabinet is also fitted with an inner spot light with dimmer switch to better display contents.
There are 15 different mounting positions for the shelves, and one additional shelf can be accommodated if desired. The inner floor is also mahogany finish.
A hasp has been mounted to the side to hold a padlock if additional security is desired. If not, the holes are easily filled.
Size-26.75 inches wide by 13 inches deep to body (14.25 inches deep to base, and 15.25 inches deep to top), by 88.25 inches high to highest point of top.
An elegant and eye catching cabinet to use for display of china, glass, collectables, a drinks cabinet, or to use for retail use.
In very good condition, this is one of two identical cabinets available, both sold separately. They would be lovely to use either as a pair or singly.

18thC Dutch oak vitrine cabinet
18th century unusual solid oak arch topped 2 piece display cabinet with three sided glazed top over two panelled door cupboard below, standing on bun feet.
Astragal glass door encloses fixed shaped shelves, while cupboard below is divided by a shelf.
The whole is surmounted by a typical scrolled leaf carved Dutch motif.
Narrow proportions, make this a useful antique in any room, and perfect to display your dishes or collections.

Beautifully shaped arch topped cabinet glazed on three sides, with three adjustable shelves over bombe shaped base with two drawers, provides beautiful and unique display and storage space for collectables or books. The whole stands on bun feet.
Predominately birch, the chamfered corners, door trim, and drawer fronts are also inlaid with birds eye maple. Boxwood and ebony inlay also decorate the drawer fronts. With ormolu fittings.
Fabulous curvaceous shape, and in a great size to fit any home at 75 inches high by 37.75 inches wide by 18 inches deep (189 cm by 96 cm by 47 cm).

Edwardian period, circa 1900 shaped back upholstered wing back armchair. It has been beautifully and professionally reupholstered by the upholsterer to the royal family.
The luxurious neutral fabric with included feather stuffed cushion, suits the chair perfectly.
It stands on tapered newly polished legs, with the original castors.

19th century Victorian striking oak glazed top library bookcase with drawer and cupboard and original key.
19th century Victorian very striking light oak glazed library bookcase cupboard. The two door glazed top has the original glass and encloses adjustable shelving.
The top sits on a cupboard base, which is divided by an interior shelf, and has a cushion drawer above.
A flared cornice and acanthus leaf carved detail embellishment to top and bottom corners, and rounded corner detail to doors, accent the piece beautifully.
The whole sits on a plinth base, and comes with the original key, which works both locks.
The colour and patina is lovely.
Crafted from oak and other hardwoods over a pine inner carcass. The interior is stained pine with an oak edge reveal on the shelves, while the exterior is combination solid and thick oak veneers, which reduces the overall weight.
Divides into two pieces for easy transport.
Size-79 inches high by 40.5 inches wide body, or 44 inches wide across top cornice, by 15.5 inch deep base, or 9.5 inch deep top.

Early 20thC very unusual Aesthetic Period demi lune commode or side cabinet from the family of Bear Grylls, famous British explorer and adventurer.
Early 20th century lovely Aesthetic Period very stylish mahogany demi lune commode or cabinet with an interesting family provenance. It is from the family of Bear Grylls, famous British explorer, adventurer. international speaker, and star of a popular television series ("Born Survivor" in the UK, and "Man vs. Wild" in the USA). His late grandfather, Brigadier William Edward Harvey Grylls, was the original owner. The Harvey Nichols depository label printed with his name is on the back of the cabinet. The late Sir Michael Grylls, former M.P., was the son of Brigadier Grylls, and the father of Bear Grylls.
A very well made, probably bespoke piece with beautiful curved mahogany geometric inlays echoing the curve of the cabinet, accented with additional ebony line inlay and ebonised trim, standing over square tapering legs.
The interior is divided by a curved adjustable shelf with moulded edge. It is as well made as the exterior. The doors open with full length piano hinges.
The top is beautifully inlaid with triangular pieces.
Size- 34 inches wide, by 18 inches deep, by 34 inches high.
With key, a stunning very versatile cabinet to use as a server, sideboard, drinks cabinet, or lamp table.
In excellent condition with beautiful colour, and a wonderful provenance, this piece will look at home in contemporary decor, or mixed with other antiques.

Wonderful 19th century unusual walnut demi-lune tambour doored marble topped cabinet.
Superb and unusual demi-lune marble topped cabinet opening with finely crafted and most desirable tambour doors, which slide back into the cabinet to open, and don't intrude into the room at all.
This walnut finely figured and beautifully coloured cabinet is adorned with two mirrors to the front, topped by leafy carvings. The top and bottom edges are beautifully moulded. The original lock is present, but no key. One could be made by a furniture restorer if desired.
The white marble top is original, and lifts off for transport.
The interior is vacant with a rug lining the bottom, and is very suitable for storage of any kind.
The door pulls are turned wood, and the whole stands on shallow bun feet.
The back of the cabinet is composed of the original period panelled back.
There is just one spot of loss of silvering near the inside lower corner of one of the original mirror glasses.
Size-approximately 29 inches wide by 21 inches wide at deepest point, by 29 inches high.
A really lovely, beautifully crafted and unusual piece in very good condition overall, with great colour and patination.
A great piece for serving, storage, a lamp or end table, or even a bedside cabinet.

Fabulous Victorian chaise longue beautifully reupholstered in luxury fabric.
Elegant and curvaceous Victorian chaise longue beautifully and skilfully upholstered in a striped pattern damask fabric with luxury trimmings, on carved walnut frame.
The angled curving back hugs the curve of the plump round head rest, while the separate removable bolster pillow echoes the same curve and adds to the comfort. The sprung seat allows fully stretching out in comfort for one, or occasional seating for others seated upright.
The carved frame is augmented with a foliate and leafy design, and the whole stands on turned legs.
A wonderful and very comfortable chaise to use in any room. It is perfect as a focal point, to use at the foot of a bed, or to position to recline on while looking at a view.
The multiple colours within the pattern allow it to blend with many colours.
Size-full length 68 inches, width 26 inches, height 28 inches. Seat height 15 inches, inside seat length 57 inches. Separate bolster cushion measures 20 inches long by 6.5 inches diameter.

With original brass fittings, and two cupboard keys.
The desk is meant to sit in room centre and/or to be used by two people, or one person with extra storage.

With the most unusual and original blind fret carving to the frieze and both outside edges of each square leg, this is a very striking card table that can also be used for serving, dining, as a hall table, or other uses.
Size-32 inches long by 32 inches deep open, or 16 inches deep closed, by 28 inches high.
The top folds over and is supported by a "flying leg," revealing a baize lined interior with embossed edge, ready for game playing.
