Wonderful substantial brown leather library armchair of generous size.
Substantial and comfortable very good quality brown leather library chair with beautifully curving arms, and carved wood arm and leg detail, as well as some studded decoration. It stands on brass castors to front legs.
This generous chair is made with an angled back having a curve to fit the small of the back, so that it is very comfortable to sit in and perfect for either a man or woman.
Size-33 inches high to top of seat back. Inside seat depth 24 inches. Chair is 28 inches wide at widest point. Seat is 16 inches high from the floor, slanting lower towards the back of seat.
The very good quality leather hide is the perfect covering for this chair which will be equally at home in library, study, living room or bedroom.
An excellent and very practical addition to the home or office.

Circa 1830 wonderful large inlaid antique butlers tray on stand.
19th century, circa 1830 William IV period large oval antique butlers tray on folding stand. This is a very special well figured mahogany tray having rosewood crossbanding and a superb large satinwood centre inlaid detailed oval conch shell. The galleried sides have ebony top edges. The tray is lifted with lovely twin cast brass handles, and the back is lined with baize.
The whole sits on a solid mahogany x-frame stand, that folds up if not required.
Size:tray-30.5 inches long by 19.75 inches wide by 32 inches high. Stand size when closed-36 inches high by 5 inches wide.
This butlers tray on stand makes a wonderful occasional table to use in any room, and is very useful for serving tea, drinks, or food. It is a bar, a side cabinet, or a serving tray, and allows serving to be done anywhere. It is a very functional and decorative room accent, and a most unusual antique piece.

Circa 1860 lovely figured mahogany Victorian cheval mirror in very good condition.
Circa 1860 lovely original Victorian figured mahogany arch topped adjustable tilt cheval mirror, having the original glass mirror plate. It stands on a serpentine base, with carved scrolled supports, and original castors.
Size overall-55 inches high by 33 inches wide, by 21 inches deep.
A very elegant mirror with lovely colour, figuring, and in very good condition, with very slight foxing to the original glass mirror.
It will blend with any decor, and is a lovely original and very functional piece, at a great value, all ready to use in your home.

Stunning circa 1900 mahogany inlaid music cabinet.
Circa 1900 solid mahogany inlaid music cabinet with a cupboard top enclosing 4 divided sections, over two fall front drawers, below which is a beautifully shaped frieze. The whole stands on tapering legs joined by two stretchers forming a rack that can be used to store additional sheets of music, books or papers. There are bone labels mounted in each section and the drawers to allow labelling of contents.
The central focal inlay is comprised of several different woods and is skilfully inlaid with a musical design centred within a leafy wreath. In addition, there is line inlay around the top, the door, and the drawers.
The colour and patina is lovely, making the whole piece very striking. The brass furnishings are original, as is the lock and key.
Size-22 inches wide by 15 inches deep by 42 inches high.
This is a gorgeous piece, sure to be a focal point. It is wonderful for storage for music or whatever one wishes, and is a perfect size to fit into any room.

19th century solid mahogany rectangular tilt top dining table.
19th century solid mahogany rectangular tilt-top dining table standing on a turned column over carved quadripartite legs having brass claw footed toe caps and brass casters.
This very useful sized dining table has rounded corners, and seats 6 people very comfortably for breakfast or supper, or 8 people depending on chair width. The brass catch releases to tilt up the table when not required, an excellent feature for smaller homes.
It is a very stable table to be used either permanently in the open position, or can be tilted up and only used for occasional use if space is at a premium.
Size-52.5 inches long by 36.5 inches wide by 28.5 inches high. When top is tilted up, the standing height is 52 inches.
A very functional and attractive solid wood table that will fit into any home, and is a very good value.

Very handsome glazed Victorian inlaid bookcase or display cabinet.
A striking and unusual 19th century Victorian original glazed ebonised bookcase or display cabinet with inlaid borders of burr walnut outlined with boxwood stringing, three accent geometric design marquetry mixed wood blocks, and embellished with discrete ormolu trim band and swags.
The two glazed doors with original glass open to reveal the original lining and shelves, suitable to store and display books and/or collectables.
The whole stands on turned feet.
With original working lock and key.
Size-35.75 inches wide by 11.5 inches deep by 41 3/8 inches high.
A great size to hold many books or collectables, but not too large for modern homes.

Wonderful circa 1900 "Lennards" shop fitting display cabinet surrounded by both etched and clear glass. Excellent for either private or retail use.
Circa 1900 unusual arch topped solid mahogany floor standing display cabinet, made as a shop fitting, likely for confectionery use, and engraved with the name Lennards within the arch.
Made by Horace V. Clogg, shopfitter, of London. An plaque bearing his name and details is mounted on the back
Very well crafted with moulded edges to top and bottom. The front and two sides contain fixed thick clear glass, while the two fully opening hinged rear doors are fitted with beautiful etched glass with a foliate and leafy pattern and dotted borders. This creates a stunning appearance as the light shines through.
The interior contains two original glass shelves mounted on adjustable iron bars with brackets. Depending on the size of the items to be displayed, an additional shelf could easily be accommodated. The interior base is mahogany.
There are two original brass lever closures to the exterior as well as the original lock and key. The interior doors have two brass slide bolt locks. A hasp has been mounted on the rear to hold a padlock for additional security if needed. If not, the holes are easily filled.
Size-42 inches wide by 16 inches deep, or 18 inches deep inclusive of arch projection, by 65 inches high to top of arch (flat top adjacent to arch is 59.5 inches high).
The etched glass panels within the wood framed rear doors measure 15 inches wide by 47 inches high each.
In very good antique condition overall, with one stable crack near the top corner of one clear side glass, and a piece missing from the back corner of one remoavable inner shelf.
Great piece to use for display of collectables at home or for retail shop use.
A beautifully crafted and very functional and attractive display cabinet, as well as an excellent talking point.
There are not many true antique survivors of display cabinets from this era, and certainly none with such fine quality stunning etched glass doors.

Victorian ebonised ormolu centre table
Unusual Victorian aesthetic period ebonised and carved centre table with leafy ormolu detailing around top edge and ornate escutcheon to lock. Additionally, there are beautiful ormolu caryatids to top of each gracefully curved leg, with beading continuing to the feet, also finished with ormolu decoration.
The top front and sides also have a delicate pattern carved into the wood.
Finished on all sides, this allows placement in centre of room if desired.
Full length drawer slots into the gently shaped frieze and the table includes the original lock and key.
Size 25.5 inches wide by 15 inches deep by 30.5 inches high.
An unusual table for tea, lamp or serving, in very good original condition, becoming a unique focal point to any room.
