Circa 1900 Edwardian inlaid mahogany revolving bookcase of unusually diminutive size, for use on table top or floor.
Circa 1900 Edwardian period inlaid mahogany stylish and very clever revolving bookcase of unusually diminutive size.
A fabulous bookcase to stand on either desktop or floor, having checkered ebony and boxwood inlay to borders of the top and panels. The square top with triangular quartered veneers.
The mechanism revolves very well whether empty, partially or fully loaded, each divided section holding a great number of books or collectables. Also, perfectly sized to hold CD's, DVD's, and tapes, but occupying only a small amount of floor or table top space.
Stands on a revolving circular base on bun feet.
If used on floor, the top also makes a great stand for a lamp, drinks or a special piece.
Size-23 inches high by 15 inches square.
I have never seen another of this size.

19th century unusual Danish solid oak small refectory farmhouse table with elaborately carved square tapering legs.
An interesting size for a serving, dining, computer or library table, or even for use as a kitchen island or baking centre, this unusual table is very versatile. The plain planked top is supported by a panelled frieze, and the whole stands on square tapering legs, carved on all sides with an elaborate design of rings, swags and tassels.
It is an eye catching table with smaller proportions, measuring 40 inches long by 26 inches wide by 32 inches high.
The top removes for transport, and slots into the base.
With lovely grain, colour and patina, this very versatile table is an excellent value, and sure to be noticed as a focal point with any decor.

Circa 1920 beautiful damask brocade covered chaise longue with storage underneath.
Early 20th century wonderful chaise longue ottoman professionally covered in a damask brocade fabric in a neutral colour, and standing on the original ceramic wheeled castors.
Lovely curving back with elegant trim to accent the curve, and with a very comfortable sprung seat.
Very clever and discrete hinged seat lifts to reveal storage for linens or whatever you like. It stands open by itself for access, and is accessed by a fabric covered tab with can remain out or tucked under till needed.
Size-64 inches long (end of curve to end of seat) by 23 inches wide by 28 inches high.
A great piece to use for reclining or to provide extra seating.
A very handsome and functional piece of furniture to work in any room, to perform dual service, and offered at a great price.

Mid 18th century unusual Georgian round gentleman's mahogany wash or wig stand.
Mid 18th century Georgian period possibly Scottish round solid skillfully turned gentleman's mahogany wash stand or wig stand, the open turned round top frame supported by three hand forged cast iron struts, over a beautifully shaped serpentine shelf section with drawer. This top section is supported by three lovely turned columns, while the whole stands on three cabriole legs on tapered pad feet, with a shaped apron above, with shelf.
Originally used as a wash or wig stand, this can show off a lovely wash set, will make an excellent plant stand, or will beautifully present a bowl of your favorite decorative accessories.
Size-30.5 inches high by 10.5 inches diameter internal tapering top, 12.5 inches external round top, by 21.5 inches at widest point of base.
With original colour and patina, an unusual stand in very good condition.

19thC unusual mahogany campaign folding and flat storing two piece card or games table.
19th century small mahogany unusual folding campaign style two piece card table. The mahogany top clips on top of the folding ebonised "x" frame. It then folds open to reveal a baize lined top. When not needed, both pieces detach and fold away totally flat to allow storage in a cupboard, under a bed or sofa, or for travel use.
The frame includes an ivory lable for maker J.H. Lasbrey of Uttoxeter.
Size-open: 25 inches square by 25.5 inches high.
Please note that the height for this type of table is lower than a fixed card table. Larger more conventional card, tea or games tables are also available if desired.
This makes a very practical and convenient table for games, serving food or drinks, or occasional use.
With replaced baize, this unusual antique table is in very good condition, and is a great value.

19th century Victorian upholstered chair on turned legs with original castors.
Sprung seat and curved back later upholstered in original handworked needlepoint tapestry covering with velvet backing, signed by artist, Audrey Randall, and dated 1967.
The very striking pattern of birds and flowers is beautifully executed to seat and back, and is done on a neutral background, to go with any decorating scheme.
Size-32.5 inches high, by 19 inches wide.

C1830 sarcophagus shape fitted workbox
Lovely circa 1830, late Regency/Wm. IV sarcophagus topped figured mahogany fitted interior work, jewellery or sewing box over fluted pedestal on shaped base with bun feet. Ivory escutcheon. Box and stand are original to each other. Interior has been relined at some stage in silver paper and red felt.
Top divided inner tray lifts up to reveal large lower storage section.
Box portion is 15.25 inches wide by 11.75 inches deep, by 7 inches high to edge, not including the rising sarcophagus part of top.
With stand, the workbox is 29 inches high, not including the sarcophagus part of top.
In excellent condition.
